My first test in three years

I don't think three-and-a-half hours has ever flown by quite so quickly before; stats midterms apparently do that. (It was only supposed to take 3 hours, but the professor offered us extra time which I gratefully accepted, leading me to show up fifteen minutes for theory.) I have no idea whether I passed or failed. The fact that the professor felt compelled to pull up the chair beside me and ask me if I wanted to ask him any questions...twice...probably isn't a good sign. On the other hand, I did manage to write something down for all of the questions, so there's hope.

I have thirty minutes to eat and then it's off to 101. I'll be glad to get home tonight.

If your professor was nice enough to offer help during the exam, then he's not going to burn you. He's the one who took stats too seriously, right? Perhaps he just felt anxious that you were more nervous than he expected someone to be?

As someone wiser than I once said, "What's done is done, but there is always chocolate ice cream." Good luck on your results, nonetheless.

Oh, he won't try to burn me. He was very generous on the assignment. But that doesn't mean I'll do well. Chocolate ice cream is a good idea, though. A couple of my classmates and I may have to try that after we get the tests back.

*hugs* Hey, it's over regardless; unwind and enjoy the fact that it's over at the very least.

I'm sure you did fine. You are just extra nervous because it is the first test you have written in so long. You are out of practice, that's all!
