Little bits of good news
Jun. 18th, 2003 02:54 pmIt's been a moderately productive day. I had to stay home this morning to wait for a phone interview for a TA position for the fall. I think that went fairly well, although union regulations prohibit the professor from making offers until September. During the interview, I got a lead on research project that might be interesting to get in on if it gets off the ground. Something to keep in mind for next year, anyway.
More good news: this afternoon I found out that I don't have to write a new research statement for the collaborative program after all--apparently they lost the old one and didn't realize I'd sent it. So that makes me happy. Now I can devote the rest of the afternoon to Ferdinand Tönnies (and Talcott Parsons' comments on his work). Yay.
