You have just won one million dollars:
1. Who do you call first?
Hmm, probably my father. Someone in my immediate family, anyway.
2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?
A laptop, since that's what I've been craving for the past six months.
3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?
I don't know. Drag my entire family on vacation, maybe? Of course, getting them to agree on where to go could be difficult.
4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?
Sure. Probably to women or children's groups, but I couldn't say which without doing more research.
5. Do you invest any? If so, how?
Of course. I'd sit down and have a nice long talk with a professional.
1. Do you know all the first and last names of every person you have ever had sex with?
Yes.
2. What was the name of the first person you ever had sex with?
More information than I'm willing to share.
3. What kind of underwear are you wearing, and what color are they?
I'll leave that to the imagination of anyone who cares.
4. What song do you want played at your funeral?
None come to mind at the moment. Funerals are for the living; let them pick.
ETA: Although I can't think of a song at the moment, I will say that my favourite poem for the living about death is Christina Rossetti's When I am dead, my dearest. Yes, it's over-exposed, but I still like it.
6. What would your last meal be before being executed?
Probably comfort food of some sort. Steak or roasted chicken. And chocolate ice cream, of course.
7. Beatles or Stones?
Beatles. I think there might be parental influence there...
8. If you had to pick one person on earth to die, who would it be?
Had to? Three answers here:
What I think I ought do: Unless I knew of someone who I was certain wanted to die (see
semiotic_trader's answer), I think on principle I should choose myself rather than murder someone else.
What I would want to do: There's a certain temptation to pick some religious figure whose views are completely repugnant to me and have them struck down at the height of a hate-filled speech in such a fashion at to make it look like their god repudiated them.
What I actually would do: I really don't know.
9. The person whose problems you don't want to hear?
Actually, I don't think there's anyone at the moment. No one has been particularly demanding in this regard.
10. What is the thing most important to you about the preferred sex?
Trait: Integrity. Other things are important too, of course, but lack of integrity will always be a deal breaker. Physically: The way they stand and move.
11. Do you secretly hate some of your friends but are too nice to reject them?
I don't consider them friends if I hate them, but I do have a couple of acquaintances who consider me a friend who I would not miss if I never heard from them again.
12. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Does immortality count? (With the caveats of eternal youth and being able to end it when I want to.)
13. Favourite hangover cure?
I've never been hung-over.
14. How many drinks does it take to get you drunk?
I don't generally feel any different drunk than I do sober, so it's hard for me to judge.
15. Favourite song lyric?
Changes by the day.
16. Hair color you most like someone you're dating to have?
I like the dark hair/light eyes combination. But the answer depends on what the whole person looks like.
17. If you had to be blind or deaf, which would you choose?
Deaf. I hate running my fingers along paper...
18. Do you have any psychiatric problems?
I've never been evaluated, whatever that says.
19. Siblings that should go to rehab?
I don't think so.
20. Least favourite month?
February. Winter starts to drag on a little too long then.
21. What is the name of your first love?
Define "love".
22. Favourite hateful thing to do to somebody?
I don't do hateful things; I just fantasize about the hateful things I could do.
23. First movie you remember seeing as a kid?
Return of the Jedi at the drive-in.
24. Favourite person in the whole world?
I don't think I can choose among my top level of favourites. Maybe MacGuy right now, because he buys me chocolate. ;)
25. When's the last time you went on a date?
I don't think I can remember that far back...
26. Do you like violent movies or dirty movies?
I like action movies and martial arts movies, but nothing that lingers on the actual suffering. I like my violence light and fluffy and escapist.
27. The name of your very first boyfriend/girlfriend?
Stuart.
28. Fall or spring?
Fall. Definitely fall. Something about the smell.
29.Person you most wish you hadn't made out with?
No such person. (I'm pretty selective about who I make out with.)
30. If you are straight, what person of the same sex would you do it with?
A few years ago I said Sarah McLachlan. Now? Angelina Jolie might be fun.
31. Where do you want to live when you are old and brittle?
Probably in the vicinity of Victoria or Halifax. Unless I have grandchildren or great-grandchildren, in which case I think I'd like to be near them.
32. Who is the person you can count on the most?
Again, I don't think I can pick just one. Or rather, there's no one person I can count on for everything, but I think between them my friends and family have everything covered.
33. If you could date any celebrity, past or present, time and age are not a factor?
Oddly enough, I don't have a favourite at the moment, though I usually do. I'll get back to you on that...
34. What's a word you'd use to describe your life?
Monotonous, at the moment. But full of promise.
