Historica!
Apr. 26th, 2004 05:25 pmI found out that Canadian Historica Minutes are all available online. For the non-Canadians out there, Historica Minutes are pretty much what they sound like--sixty-second mini-movies depicting selected moments in Canadian history. They've been airing for television for a few years, and are now being adapted for radio. I'm not sure if the Historica Minutes have actually inspired anyone to learn more about Canadian history (and they do sometimes go over the top in trying to encourage Canadian patriotism) but they're kind of fun. I particularly like the ones about Emily Murphy and Nellie McClung.
I have 4 questions on 123 exams left to mark. At least the answers are better than last time, so I won't be faced with failing two-thirds of my students again.
