Actually, unlike you, I don't have any external examiners--they're not standard for an MA defense. I just have my three committee members, and they'll let me know of any necessary revisions before I defend. The issue for me is that I hope he's not being generous by not demanding major revisions that he would have demanded were I not already eight months into a PhD program and facing withdrawing if I don't finish my MA soon.
