sorry - only a follow up to 28 Days. I've had the same thought - more that all the praying would drive me right back to the coke... But I think it's sort of the same phenomenon of why some smart kids have such trouble in school. They know their teacher (facilitator/ counsellor when you get older) is an idiot, but they can't do anything about it, and the teacher is holding all the keys. Terrible.
